The Ciarm project finally got the go ahead on December 1st 2011 after some minor delays due to administration issues. However, the project is now officially underway and the first project meeting is already planned. C2M has made contact with its equipment suppliers and meetings are in place this month to start the ball rolling on the machine build phase. The project brings together C2M as the Co ordinator and 3 other organisations spread across the UK and Europe. C2M will be joined by UB2 in North Yorkshire, Veplar in France and CEGP out in Greece for the 30 month project.
C2M has finally put pen to paper and sealed the move to larger premises. After several months of looking for the right site within the North East, a decision has been made to move to Spennymoor. The new 12,000 Sq Ft site will allow the company to build up to two full size production machines for the RGH should the need arise. The facilities that currently stand will be adapted to house an onsite training centre and visitor centre, while the engineering facet will be complemented by a fully kitted toolroom. The keys will be handed over on March 1st and we will then update everyone with our new contact details.
