There are many funds available when you know where to look in the UK. In the North East most of the funding is managed through the local Business Link. There document containing available funds is here for you to read, however you will need adobe acrobat for this pdf download.

Other funds will be available soon through the 'Jeremie' fund from One North East, the Joint European Resources for Micro to medium Enterprises, is an initiative of the Commission together with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) in order to promote increased access to finance for the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the regions of the EU
